Call for Expressions of Interest in Participating

Are you a tech innovator who is interested in applying your technology to re-invent the traditional performing arts – orchestras, opera, ballet?

Would you like to spend an afternoon in Tech Week ‘speed dating’ with our leading performers, composers, choreographers, opera and ballet producers to generate ideas for new tools, new products and new performance possibilities?  (Details about the event)

If you think you or your company could be part of starting a global ArtsTech revolution led from New Zealand, express your interest in participating by filling out the form below.

There is currently a global lag in the application of science and technology to traditional branches of the performing arts – specifically ballet, orchestra, opera and kapa haka. There is an opportunity for New Zealand’s artistic, science and tech sectors to come together to lead the world in transforming each of these art forms for the twenty-first century.

Other sectors have been significantly transformed by scientific advances and by the rich digital ecosystem that has emerged over the last two decades.  Our agriculture sector, our film industry, and even our high performance sports sector are infused and powered by science and technology.  Orchestras, kapa haka, ballet and opera companies have hardly been touched by this revolution. What if they were infused with your technology?

StratEDGY’s inaugural ArtsTech Speed Dating event in Tech Week  is designed to kick-start us exploring the potential for New Zealand ArtsTech together. Fill out the form below to be part of it.
